The Coating
One Product, Applied in the Right Order
RoamGuard is a single-component, UV-stable elastomeric coating that goes on by brush, roller, or airless sprayer. The whole-rig sequence: wash everything you plan to coat (a dedicated cleaner cuts oxidation and silicone residue), prime weathered rubber and slick TPO, then coat in this order — cap joints and seam details first at double build, roof field in two coats, slide roofs, then top moldings and bay floors with what remains in the pail.
Spray gives the fastest, most uniform film on big Class A roofs; brush-and-roll is completely adequate for towables and gets into molding details better. There is no mixing and no pot life, so you can split the job across days without wasting material — reseal the pail and pick up where you stopped.
